Lennart Karlström

Lennart Karlström was awarded his M.Sc. (Eng.) from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. Lennart Karlström is a partner of Noréns, and has more than 25 years of experience of patents. He has previously worked as a patent examiner at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office. His specialty is mechanics, but he is also active within fields such as electronics and IT. Lennart Karlström also has considerable experience of design protection.

Lennart is an authorized Swedish patent attorney and a European patent attorney.

He is a member of a number of international associations, such as FICPI, AIPPI and EPI, but also the national Swedish associations SPOF and SFIR.

During the years 1992-1998, Lennart was a board member in the association for Swedish IP attorneys, SPOF, and during 2002-2005 in the association for Swedish IP firms, SEPAF, of which one year as its president. Furthermore, he was driving behind the formation of the Swedish branch of FICPI, FICPI Sweden, and currently serves as its president. Lennart has been actively involved in FICPI work since 1997, and currently serves as the president for EUCOF, the FICPI committee responsible for contacts with the various bodies within the European Union, such as the Commission in Brussels.
